A BRAZILIAN CARNAVAL

Brazil is important to the African Diaspora in that it has the highest population of Africans outside of the continent of Africa.  This is because Brazil received more slaves than any other country.   During this week campers will be introduced to Capoeira, Samba, Brazilian cuisine and will culminate in a small Carnaval guided by what they've learned from the Book "Carnaval: African Brazilian Folklore and Crafts"
